Welcome to Amélies at The Smokehouse

We're an informal cafe and bar by day; then as the sun sets, the tea lights are lit, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. 

Perched on the harbourside in the picturesque village of Porthleven, our glass fronted doors lead onto a terrace with panoramic views over the harbour and its fishing boats.

We delicately prepare our beautiful food to order and serve it with a variety of carefully selected wines in a stunning surrounding.

Open six days a week in the winter, we offer food from 12pm until 2.30pm and 6.00pm - 9.00pm.  We are closed all day Wednesday, and Sunday evenings apart from the last Sunday of the month and the first Sunday of the month, when we hold our Melting Pot Jam Nights and Quiz night..

Valentines Weekend

We will be offering a weekend of love for couples or groups of freinds alike...with 'Makin Whopee' on Friday 10th, a sexy and sophisticated jazz duo, returning after playing to a sold out Amélies last year.  Followed by our hugely succesfull Michael Buble tribute on Saturday 11th February, this is going to be a fun filled weekend, whether you would like an intimate dinner for two, or just a reason to get a group of freinds together we have the perfect exscuse to indulge and smile, book early to avoid disappointment...our beautiful set menu is available all weekend and also Valentines Eve Tuesday 14th February and can be obtained by emailing us on info@ameliesporthleven.co.uk
